About the Role

You would be leading a team of Claims Examiners and Claims Analysts. This includes actively managing the daily workload to ensure high quality and timeliness. Furthermore, you will play incremental role in people´s development and strive to achieve a high level of engagement within the team. You will be accountable for driving process improvements to increase efficiencies and productivity as well as contributing to strategic initiatives of the company.

Your essential responsibilities will be:
• Leading and motivating the team to ensure high quality and fulfillment of tasks within given deadline while maintaining high engagement within the team.
• Nurturing the team members 'potential through meaningful development plans, regular check-ins and feedback.
• Communicating professionally with stakeholders including Claims Leaders, local Operational Managers, and others.
• Considering the strategic needs, identifying transition opportunities, and supporting the transition process.

Please note this position is being filled as cover during maternity leave (for 1 year) with potential prolongment.

Essentials:
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working in (re)insurance, preferably in Claims, Claims Ops or Underwriting.
• At least 2 years of experience leading a team.
• Outstanding customer focus and interpersonal skills allowing you to actively contribute to the team spirit as well as effectively connect with people in multinational environments.
